The challenge - increasing efficiency in order processing
The new recycling plant at Immark AG in Aarwangen processes 200 refrigeration and air conditioning appliances per hour. To ensure seamless capacity utilization, appliances have to be delivered just-in-time or stored temporarily. The challenge was to make the entire order handling process more efficient and transparent.
The implementation with iDIP - digitization of the order process
The following functionalities were introduced with the implementation:
- Order and disposition planning via calendar view: Enables clear and simple planning and monitoring of orders and dispositions in real time.
- Intuitive article configurator for goods receiving: Simplifies the entry and assignment of articles during goods receiving.
- Order processing for forklift drivers: Optimizes the process through mobile order processing and direct communication with the drivers.
- Customer and terminal management: Centralized management of all relevant customer and terminal data for a better overview.
- Data export for reporting purposes: Enables the export of data for efficient analysis and reporting.
The result - less paper, more efficiency
Thanks to iDIP, paper consumption has been reduced by 100,000 documents per year. At the same time, data quality was improved and throughput times shortened, resulting in significantly more efficient order processing.
